Cosmetic Product Safety Analysis
Microbiological Analyses
Cosmetic products are materials that end users use in every aspect of their lives, come into direct contact with the skin, and may pose a threat to human health. The suitability of these products for human health is confirmed by the analyses to be performed. This is why microbiological analyses are important. The various microbiological analyses performed are as follows.
*Aerobic Mesophilic Bacteria Count, Staphylococcus aureus Analysis, Escherichia coli Analysis, Candida albicans Analysis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa Analysis, Mold and Yeast Count

Heavy Metal Analysis
Cosmetic products are materials that end users use in every aspect of their lives, come into direct contact with the skin, and may pose a threat to human health. The suitability of these products for human health is confirmed by the analyses to be performed. Therefore, heavy metal analyses are important. The various heavy metal analyses performed are as follows.
*Aluminum, Copper, Barium, Beryllium, Boron, Zinc, Iron, Gallium, Silver, Tin, Calcium, Cobalt, Chromium, Lithium, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Nickel, Potassium, Selenium, Cesium, Sodium, Strontium, Thallium, Tellurium, Vanadium

Stability and Challenge Testing
Cosmetic products are materials that end users use in every aspect of their lives, come into direct contact with the skin, and may pose a threat to human health. Therefore, the shelf life of these products and their resistance to various environmental conditions are important. Stability means that the product maintains its chemical and physical properties throughout its shelf life. Two different methods are used: Accelerated and Long-term Stability Tests. Some of the parameters examined as a result of the stability test are as follows.
*pH, Packaging changes (Breakage, cracking, sealing), Sensory changes (Smell, color, appearance), Viscosity change, Weight change, Determination of microbial load
Challenge test (preservative activity test/strain test) controls whether cosmetic products remain microbiologically stable throughout their shelf life. Microorganism counts are performed on days 7, 14, and 28 of the test period by subjecting them to artificial contamination in a laboratory environment, and the antimicrobial protection of cosmetic products is evaluated according to this count.

Chemical Properties Analysis
Cosmetic products are materials that end users use in every aspect of their lives, come into direct contact with the skin, and may pose a threat to human health. Various chemical properties of these products should be evaluated and checked to see if they have appropriate content values within the framework of the legislation. Even the simplest pH value is a very important parameter for cosmetics.
