MOROCCO
Product Verification of Conformity (PVoC)
The Product Conformity Verification Program (PVoC), conducted by the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade (MCINET), aims to ensure that products imported into Morocco comply with local regulations, technical legislation, and standards. For product groups designated under this program, a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) issued by an authorized inspection agency is required prior to import to ensure smooth processing through Moroccan customs.
The PVoC process involves verifying product compliance with national and international standards through both laboratory testing and physical inspection.

Belgelendirme Süreci ve Gereklilikler
For exports to Morocco, the government requires a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for specific regulated product categories. Depending on the exporter’s profile and shipment frequency, the conformity assessment is carried out under Route A, Route B, or Route C.
Route A – Shipment-Based Verification (Occasional Exporters)
-
Suitable for first-time or low-frequency exporters.
-
Each shipment is inspected individually.
-
Product documents and labels are reviewed, and testing may be required.
-
A CoC is issued per shipment upon successful inspection.
Route B – Product Registration Verification (Frequent Exporters)
-
Designed for companies exporting the same products regularly.
-
Products are registered in advance with technical files and test reports.
-
Each shipment is reviewed for labeling and documentation only—testing is usually not required.
-
Offers faster processing once initial registration is approved.
Route C – Manufacturer-Based Verification (Approved Manufacturers)
-
Applies to manufacturers with consistent compliance.
-
Includes a factory audit and product conformity evaluation.
-
Approved manufacturers can ship under simplified procedures.
-
Only basic verification is required before each shipment.
Note: The CoC is valid only for the specific shipment and becomes void once the goods are cleared through Moroccan customs.
